House of Sage hosted a trunk show event displaying some of the most inspiring designers. Featuring headbands, handbags and thrifty vintage pieces: hello heaven!

Bizarre headbands made with excellent taste and whim were some of Mike Grady’s creations. From car upholstery to wire and broken glass, Mike has an intriguing collection of random medium. Birds & Egg Shells, Giant Bows, Tornados, Glass Crowns and Antlers, these headbands are definitely show stopping! I will for sure be investing in one of these babies.
But the fun doesn’t stop here! Natasha Madan’s precious Taashki handbags are something that can be universal in almost any woman’s wardrobe. The acute details on each bag is beautiful, but I’d have to say my all time favorite piece is the “dumpling bag”. Featured in the picture below on Natasha, herself, is just one of the ways the bag can be carried, it can also be swung around one’s shoulder like a simple purse.

Last but certainly not least, in my book, Julie Wheat had the cutest vintage finds. A trendy fitted denim dress, printed silk pleated skirt, and an intense motorcycle printed vest was not even the greatest of her treasures. I’d have to say the most exciting piece was the sueded python bag with leather interior! BAH NAH!
I’d have to say I’ll be coming back for some of these things, if I have any moo-la left after my trip to New York this week! More to come about exciting thrifting adventures in the city.
Stay Tuned. Monique Araujo
